What these terms are meant to cover.
Public website and resources
Use of KickSplit's public site, blog, FAQ, resources, and marketing pages — including how visitors interact with public content and contact paths.
Product and account access
Use of KickSplit accounts, roles, company access, and product workflows — and the responsibilities that come with that access.
Commission workflow outputs
Use of plans, sales data, runs, statements, dispute workflows, and payroll-ready exports. KickSplit is not a payroll provider agreement.
Using KickSplit responsibly.
Account access
Users are responsible for maintaining account access and using the product through authorized company roles.
Accurate information
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of sales records, plan inputs, employee or rep details, and payout assumptions they provide.
Review before relying
Commission outputs should be reviewed before payroll or business decisions are made.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt service, or use KickSplit for unlawful purposes.
Team permissions
Admins are responsible for who they invite, what access they grant, and how internal workflows are reviewed.
Commission workflows still require business review.
Plan logic depends on customer setup
Commission plans, bonus rules, SPIFs, assignments, costs, and payout categories depend on the data and configuration provided by the customer.
Outputs are workflow tools
Runs, statements, and exports are designed to support review and handoff — not replace customer approval before final use.
Payroll-ready does not mean payroll provider
KickSplit can prepare payroll-ready outputs, but it is not a payroll provider, tax advisor, HR system, or accounting system.
Questions should be resolved before final use
Disputes, adjustments, and review workflows should be handled before customers rely on final payout outputs.
Commercial use may be governed by your plan or agreement.
Subscriptions and fees
Paid use may be subject to an order form, subscription plan, invoice, or other written agreement.
Billing and taxes
Customers may be responsible for applicable fees, taxes, and payment obligations described in their agreement.
Changes to the product
KickSplit may update, improve, or modify public pages and product workflows over time.
Cancellation or termination
Access may be canceled or terminated according to the applicable agreement or account terms.
Conflicts
If a signed agreement applies, it may control over general website terms where there is a conflict.
Important boundaries and questions.
No unsupported guarantees
Do not treat KickSplit as guaranteeing payout accuracy, tax outcomes, payroll outcomes, sales lift, margin improvement, or dispute prevention.
Third-party services
Customers may use separate CRM, payroll, accounting, or business tools; those services are governed by their own terms.
Legal changes
Terms may be updated as the product, business, or legal requirements change.
